Our Story

Naikasya was born from a deep love for India's handloom heritage — a heritage that lives in the rhythmic clatter of the loom, in the patient hands of weavers who have inherited their craft across generations, and in the extraordinary sarees they create.

We started with a simple belief: that every handloom saree carries a story far greater than the fabric itself. A story of a weaver's family in Tangail, of a master craftsman in Murshidabad, of a tradition that has survived centuries. Our mission is to bring these stories — and these sarees — to women who cherish authenticity.

The Sarees We Carry

Tangail Sarees

Originating from the Tangail district — spanning the Bengal region across Bangladesh and West Bengal — Tangail sarees are celebrated for their fine cotton weave, delicate borders, and understated elegance. Woven on traditional pit looms, each saree is a testament to the weaver's precision and patience.

Baluchari Sarees

From the looms of Bishnupur and Murshidabad in West Bengal, Baluchari sarees are renowned for their intricate silk weave and narrative pallus — depicting scenes from mythology, royal courts, and nature. A Baluchari is not just a saree; it is a wearable painting.

Jamdani Sarees

Recognised by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, Jamdani is one of the finest muslin traditions in the world. Woven with supplementary weft technique, the motifs seem to float on the fabric like a dream. Each Jamdani saree can take weeks — sometimes months — to complete.

Khadi Sarees

Hand-spun and hand-woven, Khadi carries the spirit of self-reliance and simplicity. Breathable, earthy, and timeless — a Khadi saree is as much a philosophy as it is a garment.

Sada Lal Paar Sarees
